Affiche Oulipo
L'Ouvroir de littérature potentielle, generally referred to by its acronym OuLiPo, is a group of surrealist, inventive and innovative literature founded in 1960 by Raymond Queneau and François Le Lionnais. It aims to discover new potentialities of language and to modernize expression through writing games.
Oulipo is based on the principle that constraint provokes and encourages the search for original creative solutions.
In this regard, enthusiasts of this literary genre regularly organize one-day writing workshops in media libraries, schools, or literary cafes.
Graphic analysis of typographic gray.
I noted graphic and typographic games, the principles of composition, references, the ratio of masses, etc.
Here are my proposals for typographic compositions in order to create a poster for a fictitious Oulipo workshop.
I used the website Spacetypegenerator.com to generate typographic compositions able to visually translate an Oulipo constraint. Based on my analysis of typographic greys and my explorations of Oulipo constraints.
Here is a situation of the Oulipo poster by my most relevant proposal.
Thank you for looking at my work
